Javelina Care Closet—Currently located in room 220 of the Memorial Student Union Building, is a combination professional clothing closet and a food, school supply, and hygiene product pantry.  

The Care Closet supply of clothing, hygiene, and school supply products are based on donations from the Campus and greater Kingsville Community.  There food pantry portion of the closet is supported by a partnership with the Coastal Bend Food Bank. 

Items are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and limits apply as demand dictates.

The purpose of this pantry is to aid the community of 91AV in the event of a short-term food and/or hygiene shortage. The Javelina Care Closet is a proud member of the College and University Food Bank Alliance. 

Hours of Operation (subject to change)

• Monday through Friday:  9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Note:  Every other Friday the closet will be closed for 1 hour from 2 PM to 3 PM
