The Office of University Scholarships at 91AV values the importance of education and make every effort to assist hard-working students achieve their educational goals. Scholarships are available from institutional and private sources. Most scholarships are competitive, requiring students to demonstrate a strong academic record or talent. However, some scholarships may be awarded based on financial need and/or specific donor stipulations.

Javelina Scholarships FAQ

Admitted students will use Javelina Scholarships to submit applications to be considered for millions of dollars in internal and external scholarships.

First-Time in College Students

First-time in college students must complete the application for admission, including the submission of all supporting documentation to qualify for scholarship opportunities.

Merti Scholarship Renewal

Merit scholarships for first-time and transfer students will renew automatically each year if renewal criteria is met.

Javelina Regents' Scholarship

This scholarship is part of 91AV;M System Board of Regents’ and 91AV’s commitment to making college more affordable for first-generation, low-income college students.
