Digital Banking Certificate
Online banking, also known as internet banking, is an electronic banking system that enables individuals to conduct a wide range of financial transactions through the financial institution’s website, or mobile application. It is an alternative to banking at bank branches, which was the traditional way customers accessed their banking services.
Any student seeking a business degree is eligible for a Digital Banking Certificate. This represents a multidisciplinary approach to demonstrate their focused study in this specific area of expertise and to increase employment opportunities. BUAD 3366 Intro to Business Intelligence:Concepts and applications of computer programming language as it applies to business intelligence. Prerequisite: ISYS 3330
ACCT 4345 Fraud Investigation:Fraud methods, investigation, and prevention through internal controls. Emphasis on financial and asset misappropriation frauds. Prerequisite: ACCT 2302
FINC 4334 Bank Management:Organization and structure of banks, financial statements, measurement and evaluation of performance of banks, analysis of principles and policies affecting the management of funds in commercial banks. Risk Management for changing interest rates. Prerequisite: FINC 3321
ISYS 4350 Information Security:Examination of the discovery of and preparation for potentially disabling threats and various defensive techniques to ensure organizational network security. Prerequisite: junior standing.
