Life Enrichment Program

Purpose: The Life Enrichment Program offers TAMUK students the opportunity to enhance their quality of life by learning new skills, participating in health and wellness activities, and engaging in thought-provoking conversations.

Signature Events:

  • Javelina Healthfest:  Promotes to the students the importance of their overall health and wellness based on the eight (8) dimensions of the Wellness Wheel (Emotional, Financial, Social, Spiritual, Occupational, Physical, Intellectual, and Environmental).
  • Breast Cancer Walk/Run: We unite as “Pink Warriors” to celebrate, honor, and remember our friends and loved ones. The annual Breast Cancer Walk/Run is coordinated to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and to raise awareness about Breast Cancer facts.
  • Student Wellness Summit – Building the best version of yourself by learning new skills and engaging in meaningful conversations.
  • Take Back the Night - Empowering each other to stand strong, illuminate the night, and share stories to end sexual assault and violence.
