Michelle R. Garcia received her Ph.D. from 91AV;M University-College Station. She was appointed to the faculty at 91AV in 2003 and currently holds the rank of Professor and Research Scientist in the Department of Animal Science and Veterinary Technology. Michelle teaches Domestic Animal Anatomy and Physiology and conducts research in reproductive physiology, with an emphasis on the role of leptin in pubertal development and luteal angiogenesis.
